A LOVER OF THE SEA & COAST

I have been a painter for many years and my love for the ocean and nature continues to be a constant inspiration. I find myself drawn to the sea and coastal areas. Those places call to me for reasons I have not yet fathomed and I get great pleasure painting them.

I am an artist member of the Salmagundi Club of New York and instruct classes there every Sunday. I am also an Official Coast Guard artist with COGAP and a member of the American Society of Marine Artist. My inspirations in art are Winslow Homer, A.T. Bricher and Emile Gruppe among others. I have studied at the Art Students League under Mr. Richard Pionk, Mr. Frank Mason, Mr. Gregg Kreutz and other notable artists.

I currently teach classes and workshops in Seascape, Landscape and Coastal painting in New York City at the Salmagundi Club and in Rockaway, N.Y. with the Rockaway Artist Alliance.
